It has been a good two weeks!

Autumn came and visited me!

I finally got a job!!! Its about freakin time! I'm babysitting two kiddos! They are adorable. I've got the best hours and i'm gonna make bank! BOOYEAH!

Let me fill you all in. My brother loses his job today, and then all of a sudden my mom decides that shes going to pay for his ticket to go to cedar point. Do you want to know what I think about it? ITS TOTALLY UNFAIR! You can't just only pay for one child and make the other use their own money. This isn't the first time this has happened. WE ARE TWINS! YOU CAN'T DO THAT! YOU CAN'T NEGLECT THE OTHER ONE! oh well I guess.

I'd say that today was pretty epic. Woke up at 8:30 to get ready to go on the boat. We thought that the weather was going to be pretty crappy because the sun wasn't shinning, but we still went out anyways. We went TUBING! it was awesome! Yeahh I bet you wish you could have gone but, obviously you're not as cool as me.   

another good Lady Gaga song. I was just talking with Erin today, and we were saying that it would be frickin awesome to go to one of her concerts. OH and taylor swift is coming on Saturday, AND i'm really mad i'm not going. sad face :(

I found my sisterhood of the traveling pants 2 movie today! I've only been looking for it for almost 2 years.... I left it at Sydney's. Long story short I'm glad its back! Now I can watch it! whoop whoop!

I just found out that pickles have zero calories! It was literally the best thing I've ever read. For those of you who do not like pickles, you don't know what you're missing. Like seriously. I could eat them all day everyday. But that might get old real fast.  

Dancing with the stars season finale is also on tonight! Same time as glee finale, so I've been switching channels during glee commercials. (sorry glee is more important)

My body woke up at 10:00 a.m. but I wasn't mentally ready to wake up.

bzzzz, bzzzz, bzzzzz, was the sound of my cell phone ringing. I look to see who it was and it was Unci calling. To make a long story short she asked if I wanted to go to Mcdonald's and I couldn't refuse.

Okay, okay, its not the healthiest lunch, but it was good.


So! I go to gamestop today in hopes that they'll have the Simpsons hit and run game, and I'm in luck! They have it, so I go ahead and buy it. I come home all excited to play it when all of a sudden it DOESN'T WORK!

       now i have to go back and return it.

1. Meeting Autumn! 

 Autumn was my first friend at college! I sat down at her table because I didn't want to eat alone. She commented on my shoes, I noticed she had the exact same pair, just in black.

Classroom Activities

In class today we did peer review. I like peer review because it helps me get a better understanding of my paper.

I like it when my peers read my paper and give me advice on how to improve. 

I also like peer review days because they're easy. We read their papers and then continue to edit our own.

I also got a chance to fix my own paper, and edit my footnotes!

I'd say it was a very productive day.

I'm still not sure how i feel about that. 

Last night we took and adventure down the railroad tracks.

Me, Autumn, Justin, and Ty decided to take a walk along the railroad tracks after we went to burger king. I had just finished my soda and threw it out while Ty brought is along for the road. We were having lots and lots of fun. Skipping stones in the water, and throwing them along the track to see if they would spark. Then we hear a weird rustling sound under the bridge.  
"Ty go check it out," said Justin.
"No way man," squeaked Ty. 
"Jaime, you go see," said Autumn.
"Are you on crack?! you go see! 
"No way man, that's scary," shrieked Autumn. 
So we just kept walking because we were all too scared to check it out. 
"Autumn stop dragging your feet. It's annoying," I mentioned.
"It's not me!" she said.
I turned around and notice that there was a crazy hobo man following us! 
chooo! chooo! 
We could hear the train in the distance so Autumn and I ran past the crazy hobo man and didn't look back. We left Ty and Justin to fend for themselves. Next we see Justin running and screaming past  us. 
"see ya!" he shouted. 
So now it was Ty vs. the hobo. Ty had the drink, and the hobo was super thirsty. Ty forgot to turn around and just kept running in the direction towards the train. The hobo was getting uncomfortably close to Ty, but he refused to give up his soda. 
Choooo! chooo!
The train was getting closer and Ty still wasn't back yet. 
The next thing we hear is a SPLAT....and that was the end of Ty. The crazy hobo man picked up Ty's drink and shouted "YIPPEE MY FAVORITE." And started skipping down the tracks. 

Just kidding no one died. But the crazy hobo man was real!

Let me tell you about my epic day!

I was walking to Autumn's room when all of a sudden a great big zombie bear popped out of the forest right by valley two. I ran as fast as I could and it seemed to run just as fast as me. I called Autumn
"Hello?"
"Autumn its me, Jaime." I said panting.
"Jaime? what's happening?" Autumn said with slight worry in her voice.
"I need you to get the rope ladder and throw it out the window. I'll be there in 5."
I hung up the phone and ran. The zombie bear was still chasing me. Just keep running I thought. You're almost there. I run down the side alley and saw the rope ladder.    

Without hesitating I climb up the rope ladder all the way to the third floor. I was climbing as fast as I could so the zombie bear wouldn't make it. I hurled myself into Autumn's bedroom and shut the window. 
"What the hell is going on Jaime?"
"I don't know. This zombie bear just came after me and now its after us!"

Terrific Tuesday.

Just to let you all know that I have a severe Full House obsession. Each year for christmas I would ask for a new season. After 5 years I have successfully collected all 8 seasons!

Yes I know, some of you may think I'm pathetic buuuuuuuuut I can't help it.
I always liked Uncle Jesse, It would be pretty tight to have him as your Uncle.

Anyways...

It was so hard to get out of bed this morning! First I heard my roommates alarm clock, and thought it was mine. Then my alarm clock goes off and Aimee thought that it was hers.

4 DAYS TILL I GET TO SEE SYDNEY!

We chat all the time! And we've been besties since kindergarten!




OH! Autumn, Justin, and I also made a super cool fort today! IT WAS HUGE! On the outside it looked super small, but no. It was awesome!

In class today we took a class trip to the library!

The new project assigned is a research paper. So we went to the library to located some of our sources. My research topic is on September 11th terrorist attacks. Aside from going to the library we also looked up our sources from the library catalog. It gave us a better idea of what to look for, and helped us find what we needed once we got to the library.

There were aisles, and aisles of books that I needed to ask a Librarian for help.
She was very helpful and helped me find the book I was looking for.

I'd say today was a very productive day!

Just a couple more hours till 4:45! Then I'm finally done for the day, and I can start my weekend!!!

YIKESS! I clearly forgot to post on Tuesday, March 29th.

Anyways!

I have this terrible cold, its been stuck with me for a week now, and I would really like it to leave!

I also ran out of kleenex! bad news bears right there.

Yesterday was a gorgeous day, AND TODAY its all gray. booo.

Last weekend I ushered everyday for the musical rent!

I ushered for a total of 18 hours. IT WAS CRAZY!!

I'm glad its over though!

Now I've got rent songs replaying over and over in my head, but I'm not really complaining because it was a good show. They performed a total of 7 times! They must have been really tired after the last show on Sunday. (I know I would be)

I've just realized that there is only ONE month of school left! Where did this year go? It seriously went by so fast! I remember my friend Sophie telling me that your first year of college will go by super fast, and she was right! Oh well there is next year which will be just as good or even better as this year! :)

9/11

I wake up at 6:50, I don't know why I thought that i needed to get up that early. So I hit snooze. I didn't roll out of bed till 7:10 and that's when I officially started my morning. Walking to class was a beeeeeeep! who knew that it was going to be that cold, and I didn't know that the side walk was going to be covered with ICE! I should have worn ice skates and ice skated to class, but no i walked, and almost ATE it on the side walk multiple times. In other news here is what I did in class today:

 9/11 Terrorist Attacks.

9/11 is a pretty tragic event in our nations history. We chose to write about the 9/11 terrorist attacks because there is a lot of information about the event. Each fact draws in my attention and reading the information still shocks me to this day.

Jane Cook a junior at something high school, is a scholar athlete and has two younger siblings.  Julie, Jane’s younger sister attends something middle school, and their little brother Billy is only 5 months old.  Jane’s parents are happily married and are currently redecorating their home. William Cook works on the 82^nd floor in the south tower as a risk manager.  Their mother, Emma Cook is a stay at home mom, and attends to all of her children’s needs. 

Jane likes to participate in multiple sports, but since there are so many to choose from she only practices in two. She is captain of the swim team, and also practices on the track team.  When she is not at swim practice, or at home helping her mom take care of her siblings, she like to hangout with her best friend Kendra White.  Jane and Kendra have been best friends since the sixth grade.  Kendra was Jane’s first friend when she moved to New York five years ago.  

Facts about 9/11:

-Each tower was 110 stories tall

-North tower collapsed after 102 minutes, and the South tower collapsed after 56 minutes.

-2,749 people died, majority of them males.

My Interests.

 I'm very passionate about sports. In high school I participated in track for three years and swimming for four. I love playing sports it's one of my favorite things to do. Whether its stepping into a block on the track or on the block for swimming the feeling of excitement is the same.

I decided to choose my sports interest. I'm very passionate about sports so I thought that it would be a good idea to go around and ask a couple of my teammates and see what they have to say about the sport. I loved competing in swimming and track. It was always fun to feel the adrenaline rush of the competition.

I'm going to interview one of my teammates and form it into a newspaper article. I want to see what they think about the sport and how they feel about the competition.
